Due to the depth of experience PCE has in Protection and Control, we have vast knowledge in schemes with modern microprocessor based relays and also older electromechanical relays. With that knowledge of the older electromechanical relays, PCE has a very deep understanding of Protection and Control and the power system in general. PCE has done these same older protective schemes with more modern microprocessor based relays and implemented more advanced schemes such as bus diffs with no CTs. With these modern relays we have been able to implement smart grid designs that combine the protection with control for the smart grid.
